• Hi,
I have been using my network for a bunch of years now. It is the first time I see this issue.
I can’t change the theme of the parent site.
If I try to change it to theme B, theme B appears activated on the appearance<theme page … but on the site itself, the same old theme still … Theme A
If I try to edit a page and preview … the site appears with Theme B … but on the real page, still theme A !
I prefer not to give here the url, in case this involves some kind of vulnerability ( for security matters, I am both incompetent ans paranoid … )
Theme A is The7, a premium theme used on another child site.
Note that I used domain mapping.
    Any idea ?
    Thanks !

  • To do that, go to Appearance ? Themes from the left sidebar of the WordPress admin panel. On this page, you need to hover the mouse cursor over the theme you want to use and then click on the Activate button to change the WordPress theme. Now you can visit the homepage of your website to see the new theme in action

    Hi Surveypacific,
Thanks for your answer. You describe the way I change theme … the usual way … that does not work. Did you really read my question entirely ?
This method doesn’t work on the parent site. But it works on the sub-sites of the network.
.. but it’s kind of you anyway to try to help. Thanks.

… I have just tried again to change theme … and I get the message :
“A critical error occured …”. (Transmlated from French).
When going to debug mode :
