    Hi @lobsterdm,

the resulting page is showing the wrong company name

Is this name in any way associated with your client? Stripe pulls the company name from the merchant’s Stripe account. This isn’t a plugin level setting.

I recommend you contact Stripe support and ask them how to change the company name that is displayed on the Klarna payment page. If they confirm this can be manipulated via the API then we’re happy to add any required settings to the plugin.

Let us know what they say.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi
We asked stripe but they said it wasn’t coming from their side which is why we contacted you.

We can’t find any settings in Stripe thats controlling that name.

We can’t find any settings in Stripe thats controlling that name.

If you changed your company name then it could be Stripe doesn’t have your updated company name.

You can look at your Stripe logs page at stripe.com and confirm that there isn’t a company name property being sent by the Stripe plugin.

What is your Stripe account ID?

    Stripe account name is miljo
I can’t find any log files in the Stripe account. Do you know where these are?

You can find your stripe account ID on the API Settings page of the Stripe plugin or in the upper right hand corner of the stripe.com dashboard.

The logs are located within the developer page which there is a link to on the main dashboard page of stripe.com.

@lobsterdm No, on the API Settings page of the Stripe plugin, there is an account ID. What is that value?

Apologies – is this what you need?

Yes, that’s your account ID. What is the order ID of one of your Klarna payments?

@lobsterdm After reviewing the logs, there isn’t anything being sent from the plugin that would be causing the display of that company name so it’s coming from Stripe.

You can have the Stripe CSR review the payment intent create log entry and they can confirm this isn’t a plugin related issue.

I believe Stripe will have to update this internally on their end. It could also be that the connection between Stripe and Klarna contains the outdated company name and that should be updated.

    Hi,
I’ve spoken to Stripe support and they have advised the following

“it’s something that they have to change on thier end and they can refer to this support document: https://woocommerce.com/document/klarna-checkout/”

They’re saying it’s coming from your plugin not stripe.

    (@mrclayton)

@lobsterdm they’re mistaken. That link they provided is to the WooCommerce Klarna plugin which has nothing to do with us.

Our plugin is called Payment Plugins for Stripe Woocommerce.

    Kind regards

I know that and I’ve explained that to them but they don’t seem to understand.

I’m not sure where else to look for the answer
