Can't change the category

  • Hello, I am looking for some time for a solution, unfortunately I have found nothing about it online. It is not possible to assign the event to another category than the standard Category.

    The following plugins are also installed:

    Login Theme
    Cleverness To-Do List
    application management (Einsatzverwaltung german)

    When you say that you can’t assign events to a category other than the default category, do you mean that you can’t see a way to do that, or that when you assign a category to something else, it doesn’t work?

    Right, I do not see any option to assigned a category.

    Go to My Calendar > Settings > Input. Under the heading ‘Show in event manager’, is the option for ‘Event Category Field’ checked? If not, check it.

    If it *is* checked, go to My Calendar > Add New Event. Click on “Screen Options” in the upper right corner of the page and check whether the Event Category Field option is checked there.

    The first is the My Calendar general settings, the second is your personal settings.
