I have poured over my site many times and can’t figure out where to change the featured image that appears when my website is shared as a whole.

I have checked my “Home” page, which has a different featured image that is not the one it’s sharing.

Anyone know where this setting is at or how to find where it’s coming from?

    Thanks!

Are you using a plugin for this feature? Yes? What’s the full name of this plugin? Where did you acquire it?

Or, is this a feature of your active theme? Yes? What’s the full name of this theme? Where did you acquire it?

Sorry that wasn’t clear — I meant when I share just my regular website url on a social media platform. Not a specific page or post, just the main url.

    As in https://www._________.com

I can set featured images for specific pages just fine, but not the main url. The featured image for the page titled and marked “home” does not change it and I can’t find it anywhere else.

My theme developer helped me find it! I had checked my Yoast settings but on the “home” page there are more yoast tabs I didn’t see past the main one, which I had checked — it was hidden in there, set years and years ago!

    Thanks for trying to help!
