Can’t change permissions in Cpanel

  • Hi,
    I have been trying for a while now to change the coding on the layout pages, but it won’t let me till I change the permissions. I know how to do it for a FTP client but it won’t let me change it in Cpanel.

    I go into Cpanel and click the page, then click ‘change permissions’, a window will popup with all the permissions settings and such, but it won’t let me change it. I keep trying to change ti but it simply won’t let me type or anything. What am I doing wrong?

    Sorry if there is already a thread on this, I looked but couldn’t find it.

  • Your cPanel’s behaviour is not really a WP support question. Talk to your host about it.

    I was hoping someone who had the simular problem would know how to fix it :-/ I guess it can be closed then.
