Can't change permalink structure after auto-update from 3.9.1 to 3.9.2

  • Hey there,

    i did not know that there is the auto-updater.

    Now, after update i realize that WP changed my permalinks settings to “post name”, but i can’t change them back to the “custom setting” (/%postname%/) that i had… Every time i try to save the setting changes back to “post name” after auto-refresh.

    What is wrong?

    Please help! ??

    PS. Will disable the auto-updater next thing. Inconceivable how someone might think this a good feature… I prefer to pretest my sites when updating!

    -Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting and renaming your WordPress .htaccess file. If that works, then try reading Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure again. If clearing your Permalinks does not alleviate the issue, this could be attributed to anything from a web server configuration to a bad WordPress install.
