Can’t change permalink

  • Hi All,

    I have a blog on https://www.dictatuur.nl and use the permalinks option at the moment to get it to https://www.dictatuur.nl/1566 for example.

    I tried changing this to /%post_id%/%postname%/ and some other options. When I do that, every URL is changed, but when u click the URL you get a message saying “sorry no posts match your criteria”

    my htaccess has the right permissions (666) so I’m really lost. If anybody has a clue, please help me ??

  • Check to see if you have a cache. It will be
    /wp-content/cache/
    and if you have, delete everything inside /cache
    Nothing else, just those files.
    Let us know what that does?

    unfortunately I don’t have the /cache folder in wp-content (or in any other wp-* folder) so I can’t delete that.

    update:
    if I choose the date and name based it works
    /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

    but, i have to many links going to just the postname, I dont really want to change to this option, since I have so many links coming (well, not that much, but still) to /number posts

    any ideas? is this a bug maybe?
