Can't change passwords anymore???

That’s a change in WordPress, not the plugin. And while it does create a random secure password, you actually can set the password by typing in whatever password you want it to be. If it is weak password, you’ll also need to confirm that you are allowing the use of a weak password.

Same problem here! Now there is a Generate Password button instead of actually being able to choose what you want it to be. Is this really just with the new update and is there a way around it?

@konsims – same answer as above. This is a change in WordPress 4.3. Click generate password, then you can set it to whatever you want (although you will have to also confirm the use of a weak password if what you set is not a strong password).

@chad Butler – Nothing happens when I click Generate Password. I’ve tried in different browsers and after restarting the computer. Any ideas

The process uses javascript, but if you see the generate button, then it’s not that you have js turned off because if you did, you’d see the old password/confirm password dialog (which is still there for noscript).

You’ve tried different browsers so I doubt it’s a browser problem. It could be a conflict with another plugin (there are lots of “security” plugins that hook into WP’s login and password functions). It could be that the js for the generate password process isn’t loading or isn’t there.

Not sure what else to tell you in this situation since the problem doesn’t have anything to do with this plugin.

Help, my generate button doesn’t work either. It was working until April 16, 2016.

Same Problem here. I cant generate users, because the password buttons doesn’t work.
Also I cant select all chekboxes at once and some other weird stuff like this!

Same problem.Password button doesn’t work and my sites are being hacked (jahat.php). I need a way to change my password. The button says “Generate Password” but when I click it nothing happens.

The plugin doesn’t have anything to do with the change password button in the admin user profile.

Any solution regarding this problem. My generate password button stopped working as well.
