Can’t Change Insurance When Buying Labels

Please note that purchasing labels is not a core feature of WooCommerce.
May I ask which plugin you are using for this feature?

However there is no option to change it when purchasing labels through woocommerce

This is why I thought you already had a plugin to purchase shipping labels.
Please correct me if I have misunderstood this and tell me which steps you are taking to purchase labels.

Essentially my problem is this, I am using woocommerce shipping. When I get label for shipping, I want to be able to change the insurance coverage for this shipment to cover the entire shipment. However, when I select a label to buy, as you can see from above there is no option to change the insurance. It only covers up to $100, which is too low for most of my products. Please tell me how I may enable the option to buy additional insurance, or if another plugin can help with this.

I reviewed your system status report and noticed that you have the WooCommerce Shipping plugin installed, which seems to be what you’re using to purchase labels.

WooCommerce Shipping currently provides default insurance coverage of up to $100. However, there is no built-in option to increase the insured amount directly when purchasing labels.

I found that this feature has already been requested here: Feature Request – Add Additional Insurance to USPS Shipping Methods. You may want to upvote or follow the request for any updates.

To purchase higher insurance, I’ll advise making use of third party services for this.
