Can’t change Event Status from “Draft” to “Published”

it seems to be working fine on our test sites using the same wp version; just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

– deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

also, can you check your php logs to see if there’s any other error?

I deactivated all plugins then reactivated Events Manger. The problem still persisted. Again, on any newly create event the option to select “Publish” does not appear in the “Status” dropdown menu (Only “Draft” and “Pending Review”, This site is currently, and always has, been running the “twenty eleven” theme. I switched to the twenty fifteen theme to test and it made no difference. I don’t see any other error. Do you know when the last version of Events Manager was put out. This problem has only been occurring for the last week or two. I’m wondering if rolling back to a prior version would help.

that’s weird, are you creating or updating events as admin or author? can you check user capabilities under events > settings > general > user capabilities ?

Admin. Two different users with Admin role have the same issue.

Did you check that all options are checked for that user level under Events > Settings > User Capabilities?
