Hi Jonnychadwick,
Thanks for getting back.
Since we are not able to replicate this issue on our own site (the default title can be changed), we do not yet know how to fix it. So we need to find out what the trigger is first so that we can solve it.
1 – Can you right-click with our mouse cursor on the Quiz Setup field where the quiz title is missing and then click “Inspect” in the menu that appears? It’s usually at the bottom.
Then look for the div id=”fca_qc_description_meta_box” and deploy the HTML inside it by clicking the little right arrow button.
Then take a full screenshot of the inspector and paste the URL link again so we can check it out.
There could be something in your version causing the div class=”inside” not to appear.
2 – Also, do you have any speed or caching plugins eg through Jetpack? It would be recommended to turn them off and test if the title and description appear.
3 – Even if an issue is likely not a conflict with another plugin, it’s often best to rule out the possibility completely. The following steps will tell you whether or not you are experiencing a conflict, and with what piece of software the conflict is with. This method is more thorough than the last attempt.
The steps are as follows:
Deactivate all plugins, except Quiz Cat.
See if the issue persists:
If so, your issue is not caused by a conflict with a plugin.
If the issue is gone, one of the deactivated plugins was causing a conflict. You need to find which one.
Reactivate your plugins one at a time, and check after each to see if the issue returns. When it does, you will have found the plugin conflict.
If a plugin conflict is not found, check the theme next. Revert to a default WordPress theme like ‘Twenty Twenty Two’.
If the issue is gone, you have a theme conflict.
If not, the issue is not caused by your theme or a plugin.
Looking forward to your reply.
All the best.
