Can't change default import folder

After upgrading to the latest version and experiencing different bugs, I’ve got a new one, that kinda freaks me out.
I got over 25.000 images in more than 950 galleries nicely sorted, but now I’m not able to choose the import path anymore.
If I choose “Import Folder” I’m stuck in “wp-content”, but all of my galleries are in “root/wp/media/%year%/%month%/foldername” – how can I get there?
