Can't change canonical url

    Apparently I am modifying/changing the canonical urls of my categories, products etc.. it was fine and all..

    I only had one problem, i can’t seem to edit the canonical url of my shop page..

    when i’m on page 2 or above of my pagination..

    it shows as /shop/page/4/

    i want every page is on it’s base url.

    Help?

    I am using woocommmerce btw

  • I don’t think Yoast SEO have any such option there. Please read this as it guide you that we don’t need to add canonical links on a paginated page.

    yeah.

    editing/adding a cononical link to a specific page..

    will also override other pages on its base url.

    this doesnt happen on my shop page…

    but on other pages, it just work.
