Can't change blog title and discription

    Initially, while setting up wordpress I gave name to my blog as “online things” with description “whatever happening online.”

    Now i changed my blog name to “THO” and description “Things Happening Online”. I did it in Settings>General. After that, while editin, writing blog, on top-most horizontal bar, where name appears, It is showing right name “THO”.
    But when i google search my blog, it still shows earlier name and discription as “Online Things | whatever happening online”
    I’m using presswork theme.
    what can be done now?
