Can’t change author

I have custom roles on my ecommerce and I can’t select the user with that role. They doesn’t appear. I use User Role Editor from Crocoblock to create that role.

@isetm can you let me know the capabilities you have selected for that custom user role?
The new user role must have the same capabilities as a WordPress Author role, specifically:- edit_posts
- edit_published_posts.

Otherwise they will not appear in the author selection list.
