• The plugin name is strange. JPEG always compresses your images. The plugin description doesn’t say what it does, and there is no way to change the compression level. There are better alternatives to this plugin I think. After figuring out what happens it seems that JPEG compression is set to 100, that is also a bit strange as 90-95% for example creates much smaller files which anyone hardly notices any difference even if you are a photographer.

    Hey,

WordPress is automatically compress JPEG images to 90% of their original size. this plugin is for people who prefer high quality images rather saving performance and page speed.

The reason that you do not have the option to set the compression percent is because the whole meaning of this plugin is to be simple as possible. this plugin just disable the compression, as you can understand from the plugin name.

There is few other plugins that allow you to set the compression percent, but they take much performance since they depended on the percent value in the database.

I hope that you can understand those reasons, since the 3 stars rating you submitted just brake the reputation of the plugin.
