Can’t change any notification recipient (json error)

    Hi,
    We have deleted an admin account which I suspect was coupled with the notifications in iThemes.
    However, we can’t now change anything under the notifications tab because we keep getting the error:

    The response is not a valid JSON response.

    I suspect this is related to the missing admin account. I keep getting email errors with “Missing To Header” from my website.

    I’ve just tried deleting the plugin and adding it, but after the setup (before finish) it now says:

    The response is not a valid JSON response.

    Could not save user groups: The response is not a valid JSON response.

    Could not save user groups: The response is not a valid JSON response.

    The response is not a valid JSON response.

    How can I fix this?

    Hi @crossy, thank you for reaching out. iTSec requires access to the REST API to function. Please try reaching out to your hosting provider and have them allow all the REST HTTP methods: GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, and OPTIONS. You can check which methods are currently allowed on your site here.
