Can't browse previous or next month – Console says protocol error

    Hi,

    On my site I am unable to click to the previous or next month of the calendar.

    The console reports a protocol error:

    Uncaught SecurityError: Failed to execute ‘addEventListener’ on ‘EventTarget’: Blocked a frame with origin “https://heci.co.uk” from accessing a frame with origin “https://widgets.wp.com”. The frame requesting access has a protocol of “http”, the frame being accessed has a protocol of “https”. Protocols must match.

    I have no idea how to go about resolving this issue. Can anyone assist in providing a solution or suggest a direction to fix this?

    Hey @toomba,

    Is your site where these issues are happening https://heci.co.uk?

    If so, does temporarily deactivating Jetpack on your site help these issues at all?

    Hi momnt, thanks for the reply.

    I’ve now changed to a different calendar and no longer have these problems.
    I had not tested deactivating Jetpack. Is this a known issue? Do you know what the conflict is/could be?

    (I’m not sure specifically what issues George was relating to, following the suggested step and deactivating Jetpack temporarily would be worth a shot if you do wish to dig into this further.)
