Can't browse previous or next month – Console says protocol error

  • Hi,

    On my site I am unable to click to the previous or next month of the calendar.

    The console reports a protocol error:

    Uncaught SecurityError: Failed to execute ‘addEventListener’ on ‘EventTarget’: Blocked a frame with origin “https://heci.co.uk” from accessing a frame with origin “https://widgets.wp.com”. The frame requesting access has a protocol of “http”, the frame being accessed has a protocol of “https”. Protocols must match.

    I have no idea how to go about resolving this issue. Can anyone assist in providing a solution or suggest a direction to fix this?

    Hi,

    It looks like your using a different plug-in to Event Organiser (or perhaps you’ve since tried another plug-in).

    In any case, to be able to assist any further I’d probably need to see the page for myself. Event Organiser doesn’t use iframes, so it’d be useful to see where that frame is coming from.
