  • Deactivate all plugins and revert to Twenty Eleven theme and see if the problem persists.

Ok, I deactivated all plugins and was able to manually upload and install Twenty Eleven. The mobile version of the site with Twenty Eleven activated allowed the links to be active again.

However, in the back-end (mysite.com/wp-admin) I still receive the same error message when trying to search Themes and/or Plugins:
“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

Also, when I go to Pages>Edit the two tabs “visual” and “html” well “visual” tab is grayed out and it only shows me the contents of the html tab.

[ Please do not bump, that’s not permitted here. ]

It seems to be a problem with your theme Chameleon, which is outdated/ broken. You may re-upload a fresh copy of the theme and see if the problem persists.
If the problem still persists, please contact Elegant Themes for support, as we do not have access to commercial themes for which you pay to the theme vendor part of the price.

I wrote that I changed to the twenty eleven theme and the problem persisted, therefore I think that rules out the idea of it being a singular issue with Chameleon. I started a new thread, thanks anyway.
