Can’t browse between different galleries i the album anymore.

When clicking on next or a number, you only end up on page 1. However, it works fine to browse between different images in a gallery.

It has worked fine before but all of a sudden it doesn’t work. It is also not possible to change the path in the URL to another page in the album. The path shows the correct page, but it is always the first page in the album that is displayed.

The album is accessed by clicking on Fotogalleri in the menu.

Any suggestions for solutions are gratefully accepted.

    Hi,

We are sorry to hear of the problem. There are 2 things you may want to try first:

    1. Edit the page, edit “NextGen Gallery” block from the page and press “Insert Gallery” button without doing any changes, then publish the page’s changes (this will update the shortcode construction in case of using a legacy construction).
    2. Select the album from “NextGen Gallery>>Manage Albums” and press “Update” without having to do any other changes. This should update the album slug, and in some of the cases that can fix the navigation problem.

If the above doesn’t help, please contact our support team directly at https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/ indicating this thread’s URL.

    Thanks

I have tried the suggested arrangements several times but unfortunately it does not help.

Tried almost everything, disabled different plugins several times, changed themes, tried different versions of NextGen and different settings in NextGen, different versions of PHP, different browsers but unfortunately without success.

There is an error code when I review the code in the browser. ”shave is not defined”

    Hi @bgl5

We are sory to hear that the issue persists.

There also might be a conflict between NextGEN Gallery and another plugin or the theme causing the pagination to fail.

If you’d like to test for conflict, you can begin by creating a backup of your site (if you don’t have a way to do this yet, here are some WPBeginner-recommended options: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/7-best-wordpress-backup-plugins-compared-pros-and-cons/).

Next, deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery to see if there are any changes to the issue. If so, you can reactivate them one by one while observing for any change to the plugin to identify the conflicting plugin.

If the error persists, you might want to test for theme conflict by switching to a default WordPress theme like TwentySeventeen to see if this resolves the issue. Once you’re able to identify the conflicting plugin or theme, you might want to reach out to the plugin or theme’s support to see if they can provide a solution for this.

I hope this helps! Could you please let me know if you have any questions?

    Thanks! ??
