• When trying to go to our site, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /www/dreamersi/clearstorygallery.com/public_html/wp-blog-header.php on line 14

Our web host says that our htaccess file and the wp-config.php file are empty. In checking via FTP, that seems to be true.

I have done some searching on the forums and some of the answers seem old. I am wondering if there is a more current method of solving this or if I need to dig back in.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Do you have a backup of your site? If so, can you upload those 2 files?

I thought I did. But the zip files I downloaded last upgrade are “invalid archives” it tells me. The backup directory on the site via FTP is empty.

Hmmm…if you don’t have the files and the web host does not, I’m not sure how you could get those files back with the same config. Maybe others might have some suggestions.
