@wimmerstefan I am currently testing Google Site Kit on some of my sites. The reports aren’t as good, but at least I don’t have to hand my info off to anyone (other than Google of course, who already know everything about everyone anyway).

I’m going with Google Sit Kit as well ??
First I had a look at GAinWP Google Analytics Integration for WordPress as it is a fork of GADWP but at the end of the day the data end up with Google anyway so I decided to go for Google Site Kit which was one of the candidates already… ??
