• This is a very good idea, but it has too much bugs and i do not recommend to use it in a real project if you don’t want to waste your time

  • @dim0n I’m really sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy the plugin.
Could you please elaborate on the “too many bugs” part of your post?
What kind of bugs did you find?
On the github repository on https://github.com/aristath/kirki we’re currently working on version 2.4.0 and fixing all reported bugs, so knowing what the issues you encountered were would be really helpful.

I’d like to balance out this review a little bit: I’ve been using Kirki in my premium theme for years without any significant problem.

Also, any issues that appear are usually resolved remarkably fast. Kirki is a very real project, used by tons of people.

I second that, @pagelab. I’ve been using Kirki in my themes as well and it’s a very reliable & useful plugin. I don’t know what bugs is the initial reviewer @dim0n talking about, in my personal experience any small issue that might appear is solved in minutes by @aristath , a huge generous effort that I’m grateful for, this being a free project.

I hope you will give the plugin a second try @dim0n, and reconsider the review. Thank you!

In any awesome project you must meet someone who don’t know anything about developing put a bad rate and in any bad and non-free project he put a high rate.

This is an awesome plugin guys.

    Best

This is not a reason to put a bad review to this wonderful plugin if you suddenly found a bug. I’m working with Kirki, it’s a crackling plug-in that gave us a lot of new things to work on, and I did not see any bugs.

There will always be somebody who doesn’t know what they’re doing, doesn’t bother trying to learn how to use a plugin, and blame the plugin. I’ve been using Kirki for many years and I can attest that it is very stable if one takes the time to learn it. Which, by the way, is not very difficult to do — follow the documentation and ask questions when you don’t understand something. @aristath has taken the time to explain things and I greatly appreciate that and all the outstanding work he has done in developing this wonderful plugin.
