Can't be deactivated on homepage

Thanks for providing this plugin. Installed it, configured it and it showed up nicely on the single page, both top and bottom as configured.

However, on homepage of https://iteractif.ch, links were positioned above the caption in the carousel. And changed the caption color from white to dark grey, i.e. making the text unreadable.

I tried to deactivate link bar from showing on the homepage. It still showed up.

Only way to make it disappear was to deactivate the whole lot. As it stands now.

Tried to paste the manual code provided into the single page php template, above the comments. And nothing showed up.

What’s the solution?
