I have been trying to use updraftplus for years, but I always deactivated it due to issues with backup. I installed again 2 days ago hoping that things would have changed, but still this same. Cant get automatic backup and backup now will stop halfway.

I need help, and i do hope the team could help as I am not a techie. Below are the error messages received from the plugin:

Warning 1: WordPress has a number (3214) of scheduled tasks which are overdue. Unless this is a development site, this probably means that the scheduler in your WordPress install is not working

Warning 2: The scheduler is disabled in your WordPress install, via the DISABLE_WP_CRON setting. No backups can run (even “Backup Now”) unless either you have set up a facility to call the scheduler manually, or until it is enabled.

Need help for auto update. I used my google drive as backup storage.

    Thanks

Thanks tho, but I guess I will just deactivate the plugin again. Noticed there is a huge list of users who have the same issue.
