Can't authorize new account

    I’ve tried EVERYTHING i’ve found in this forum in addressing this problem, and nothing seems to be helping. I’ve obtained consumer key/secret; I’ve filled out every field, including callback URL (does it need to be the URL of the wordpress admin or the website or the website associated with the twitter handle or what? — I’ve tried both the one where the admin/website is as well as the one associated with the handle); does the website need to have “www” preceding the domain name?; I’ve tried while logged into twitter; I’ve reset keys several times — everything. Every time I click “Authorize New Account” it just refreshes me to the same page.

    There are a small handful of people that are having this problem. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to reproduce it on any of my sites or servers.

    A similar problem that I WAS able to track down affects server with out of date CA certificates (these are used to verify that an SSL certificate is trustworthy). I just released version 2.5.2 with a work around for that. Please try this new version to see if this issue is related.
