    Hi there,
I’ve not been able to start using your Google Analytics plugin as nothing happens when I attempt to verify it. It asks me to verify by copy and pasting a code that’s provided but either the message to authenticate never goes away or it says no changes have been saved. Could you please help?
I’ve been able to verify other plugins with google fyi.

    Cheers!

Hi Chris- turns out Siteground was giving me wrong info which sent me in all sorts of directions (confirmed by google app support when I rang today).
I’m not sure if it’s working yet but it seems to have verified my account- I needed to create a separate google analytics account – which I didn’t realise, because When one clicks the ‘authenticate button’ on the WP dashboard it produces a tracking code which doesn’t work – connecting automatially with one’s gmail account. But creating a google analytics account provided me with a diff tracking code which I used to authenticate the account and it seems to work. Does the plugin automatically insert tracking code to all my pages? when I will start seeing stats? usually I get about 60 views per day but I have 0 ??

    Hi there,
Yes, you will need to have a Google Analytics account (our next major release has better built in detection of these kinds of issues).

Google Analytics data comes in on a 24 hour delay (as it’s customary for advertisers to ignore same day (incomplete statistics) which Google reflects in their Analytics backend. As a result you’ll begin seeing data populate your reports approximately 24 hours after you add the code (if using Google Analytics for the first time). So if you added it 13 hours ago (according to the timestamp on your comment), you’ll see the first data start to come in, in about 11 hours.

    Hi
I am having a similar problem. I followed the instructions here: https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/connect-google-analytics/ and it said profile active and then settings saved. But when I click on reports/dashboard I get this message: Please authenticate with Google Analytics to allow the plugin to fetch data.I’ve gone through the process several times…

    My host is WP engine

    Thanks
