Can't attach images?/Bulk attaching

  • Please help!
    I’m sorry if i’m in the wrong channel for this, but i clicked on the irreversible transfer/upgrade option and kinda screwed myself up. I want to use this plugin with Inkblot instead of my previous Comic Easel, but i have about 150 pages now that i have to reattach to all these new categories and slugs.

    So, 2 problems:

    I can’t seem to figure out how to actually put the comic in the comic/content panel. A really base-level problem, i know, but when i look in the media library and click an image i don’t see any “Uploaded To” column. Because of this, all my posts are orphaned. I haven’t managed to attach a comic at all.

    Further, is there a way for me to use the attacher to put up my pages in bulk? Otherwise i’ll be here for hours reuploading.

    Thanks, if you can help. My comic is my life, and i’m panicked when my site is down.

    Apologies for the trouble narrowed eyes. You’re fine to post requests anywhere, to be honest; I’ll respond here since you already closed the GitHub issue, though.

    1. You may need to change the Media Library view. In the upper left corner – just below the Media Library title – there should be two small icons: one that looks like a list, and one that looks like a grid. Click on the one that looks like a list, and that should switch to a more standard list view with columns (including the “Uploaded To” column).

    2. You should be able to use the attacher, yes, though I can’t guarantee it’ll match everything up perfectly. On the attacher page, just pick the collection you want to attach to (the first option), what you want to match from the posts (title, slug, date, or a custom field), what you want to match from the media in your media library (filename, title, slug, or date), and then hit Find Matches (there are a few other options you can play with before that).

    If Webcomic finds any matches they’ll show up on the right; just select the matches that are correct, then click Attach Media to finish. There’s some additional help in the Help tab (upper right of the screen) on that page as well.
