cant assign cpt-tax term to post if current user dont have edit_others_posts cap
-
Hi Rachel,
Fist of all, this is a fantastic plugin I ever expected, thx!
The thing is Im using Capability Manager Enhanced(CME for short) plugin to manage my user roles and caps. And I choose cpt-tax term assign capability both in cpt-onoimes setting panel and CME plugin panel for my author role.
However when I try to add a new post with an author account, I cannot assign cpt-tax term because the tax assign widget is totaly blank.
I later figured out if I choose edit_others_posts capability for the author role in CME plugin panel, and guess what, yes I can assign terms.
So this issue certainly has smth to do with the capability settings and I wish you can help out.
Thx in advance.
