Can’t assign a product to a vendor – field dissappeared on WP 5.1!

    Hi there:
    We have gotten the forced update to WP 5.1.1 (Blocks/Gutemberg) and now, when I create or edit a product, I can’t see a combo box to select/assign the product to a vendor. It only gives me the chance to assign to an “author”, which is different in this case. Any idea how can I fix it?

    Hi Bafius,

    We test, use and develop our products with the latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce. I have been unable to replicate this issue on any of our demos or installs. The vendor column is still being shown. However the ‘author’ column is the same thing, we are just renaming it to vendor.

    It’s possible another plugin or your theme is overriding our actions to do this rename. I would suggest going through our debugging steps just to rule out any conflicts that might be occurring. https://docs.wcvendors.com/knowledge-base/the-debugging-guide/
