Can’t apply more than one category to a post

  • Hi

    I’m having a little trouble trying to assign multiple categories to posts – every time I click more than one category I get a dialog box pop up saying:

    The page at https://www.booster-seat.co.uk says:
    Attention! You can select only ONE category.

    I’ve tested on a clean install of WP and can select more than one category. Can you tell me why this is happening? I’ve updated to the latest version (2.8.5)

  • As you’ve discovered, “one category only” is NOT a native WordPress restriction, so try to deactivate all plugins and then reactivate one-by-one to find the culprit.
