Cant adjust Select Width!

Hi, I am trying to reduce the width of two select-type drop-down menu in one of my forms…I tried all alternatives in different forums such as:

.wpcf7 select {
width: 30%;
}

Also used Type = [“select] ..etc..it simply ignore anything I try. All other customzation works fine eg input width, color , etc…

PS: LInk above may be eventually in “under maintenance mode” ;
