Since installing Google Site Kit, I can’t add or modify translations with Loco Translate.

When I click the Save button, I systematically get an error message : Erreur : window[“_gaUserPrefs”] = { ioo : function() { return true; } }. Vérifiez la console pour des informations de débogage.

    How do I fix that?

Thanks for sharing. I don’t encounter the same from my side, see below:

There may be a combination of plugin configurations which result in this error on your specific site. If you can try the steps below I’d be curious to know if you’re then able to perform translations successfully:

    1. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    2. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    3. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google” and also Loco Translate
    4. Attempt to perform translations once more

You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.

Thanks for checking and providing an update. From further inspection there does seem to be some known compatibility issues, not specific to Site Kit.

From reading the article there are a few things you can check from your side, as I’ unable to reproduce the same issue.

    1. Try from a different device
    2. Check using a different browser
    3. Try and temporarily deactivate any hosting related optimization or firewall software

If you encounter the same error each time please share any console errors. You can also share any error logs using the same form you used previously.

I’ll keep these on file for future testing, but for now I don’t really have the time to go any further into the issue. So I’ll make due with AJAX for the time being.

If I get a chance to get into it more in depth, I’ll let you know the results.

    Thanks for your help.
