    Hi,
When I have Facebook For Woocommerce activated the normal WC add product page won’t load – The link to Facebook seems to have worked and products that had previously been added to the shop were synced OK and do appear on FB page but have to deactivate plugin to be able to add products and use WC in a normal way. Any suggestions please? POr other settings I might have missed?
    Many thanks

  • I have the same or similar issue. Whenever I have the Facebook Plugin activated the product edit page doesn’t work properly. ie the description text is white and you have to highlight it to see it, you can’t remove or add product photos, the short description dialog box is missing etc.

    Hi @sjskull @npetrie5933 @princeandlady

I’ve seen some similar reports for this – one with Divi theme and one with Avada.

Is anyone able to run through some conflict testing to narrow down the cause of this, please? https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/ – the reason I ask is that using the default Storefront theme, I don’t see this issue at all when using the latest versions of the plugin.

Also, can you confirm your PHP Memory is at least 512MB?

    Thanks,

Hi Doug, I am using Storefront as well. The issue seems to be when I have one of a dozen plugins enabled. There are no other conflicts. Some of the plugins being enabled in which I have noticed cause this issue:
Yoast, Rankmath, Paypal for woocommerce and multipayments by angelleye

    Hi @npetrie5933

Interesting – are you able to troubleshoot some more by finding out which of those plugins is causing this, please? You may end up helping a lot of people and uncovering a bug.

@princeandlady @sjskull Have either of you had any success around this issue?

    Thanks,

Any one of them will cause it. I enabled troubleshooting mode and did one by one. I gave up after this, because none of them had conflict with each other. It seems as though the theme with these plugins is that they all modify the edit product page and edit category product page.

I’ve just started trying to narrow it down. I use Astra Pro Theme and activate the Woo commerce plugin which I definitely need. So far I found that with Facebook for Woo Commerce activated alone there is not an issue for me. When Advanced Woo Search, Braintree for Woo Commerce or Customer Reviews for Woo Commerce is activated along with the Facebook Plugin the issue is present. I will do additional testing when i get a little free time.

    Hey @npetrie5933 @princeandlady

I really appreciate the extra troubleshooting you’ve gone to here!

From what I understand, Facebook for WooCommerce and the core WooCommerce plugin are working together but on your sites, when certain other extensions are active, the WooCommerce product edit screen isn’t working.

When Advanced Woo Search, Braintree for Woo Commerce or Customer Reviews for Woo Commerce is activated along with the Facebook Plugin the issue is present.

So when any one of these is active, the problem occurs @princeandlady ?

@npetrie5933 – is that the standard Yoast plugin or the WooCommerce specific version? Also Paypal for woocommerce – can you link me to which PayPal plugin this one is? If it’s one from us at WooCommerce.com, then I’d love to test more.

    Thanks,

In troubleshooting mode I enabled Woo Commerce and Facebook for Woo Commerce with no issues present. I then enabled all the plugins I use one at a time individually with those two (only 3 plugins each time). I found the issue with the following plugins with Facebook enabled, but work fine with it disabled.
    Braintree for Woo Commerce
    Constant Contact + Woo Commerce
    Customer Reviews for Woo Commerce
    Jetpack by WordPress

    Hi @princeandlady

I found the issue with the following plugins with Facebook enabled, but work fine with it disabled.

Do you mean that with each of these enabled on their own the issue still worked or when all four were enabled along with WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce?

I have Jetpack active on my own site with no problems so the problem looks related to one of the other three. If you’re able to narrow down the conflict, that would help the author of that plugin work on a fix.

    Thanks,

When I have the core WooCommerce activated and Facebook activated, activating anyone of the ones mentioned the issue appears.

    Hi @princeandlady ,

Since the issue only occurs with those plugins active, you may need to reach out to the authors of those plugins for assistance.

If “Braintree for Woo Commerce” is the PayPal Powered by Braintree extension purchased on WooCommerce.com, you can get support at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. If you open a ticket there, please include a link to this forum thread, so that our developer partners will be aware of what’s already been done.

As far as Jetpack, since @dougaitken was able to use it without seeing this error, I wonder if there’s an issue with the version of Jetpack that’s installed or your site’s Jetpack connection causing trouble with that.

Can you confirm that you have the most current version of Jetpack installed, and that it’s connected properly?

    Hi @princeandlady ,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
