I updated to wordpress 5.5.1 yesterday and all was working ok but today I’m having major trouble trying to upload a product image on the “Edit Product” page. i no longer get the upload image popup box. it now sends me to the link above but I cant choose any of the images I have uploaded. here is the gallery link
    https://japaninmotion.com/wp-admin/media-upload.php?post_id=16588&type=image&TB_iframe=1&tab=library

or when i try “product gallery” it sends me to the top of the” add new product” page. How do I get the product image upload area to show up in WordPress?

also my “most used” tags wont work….basically almost all boxes on the right side from “product categories” down wont work.

I have tried changing my themes but I still get the same problem. Im still using woocomm 3.8.1 and havent updated to the new woocomm because I need to get a better PHP. is not having the newest ver of woocom causing all my problems? or is there an addon i can get? thanks any help would be greatly appreciated

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @japaninmotion

It’s definitely possible that the outdated version of WooCommerce is causing these issues.

It’s also possible that another of your plugins may be conflicting with WooCommerce. You can read more about plugin and theme conflicts in our Self-Service Guide.

Here’s how you can figure out which one may be causing the problem:

    Before you start

    • First, please make sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. Most hosting companies have this included in the subscription, but you could also consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, it’s nice to know that you can restore your site.
    • Second, I would suggest to install a plugin called Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it allows you to disable plugins without effecting your current site visitors.

    How to test for conflicts
In order to test for conflicts using Health Check & Troubleshooting:

    1. Go to Tools > Site Health > Troubleshooting.
    2. Select Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all your plugins and set your theme to a default one.
    3. Go to Plugins. There you can enable WooCommerce by selecting Enable While Troubleshooting.
    4. Try to reproduce the problem. If the problem is resolved, it’s clearly a conflict. Now we need to figure out which plugin is causing this conflict.
    5. If you can’t reproduce the problem with only WooCommerce enabled, go ahead and re-enable the other plugins one by one. Test after each one until the problem occurs again – this will tell you which plugin is conflicting.

Once you’ve done that, please check out How to test for plugin and theme conflicts and follow the steps there. Please let us know how that goes.

    Hi @japaninmotion

Were you able to get this worked out with a conflict test?

got everything working….had to contact my host to get things sorted out….thanks

I have the same issue and after turning off all my plugins and except for woocommerce and then turning them back on one by one i identified the plugin that was causing the issue, it turned out to be the WoodCommerce product Addons plugin.
