can't add posts

After running the plugin, my dashboard only shows post categories. There’s no add post. I tried restoring my backup and that didn’t change things!!! I can’t understand this.

I tried deactivating the plugin and some other recent plugins. I even tried a fresh install to try to bring in the posts with the importer from the dashboard. I got images, I got users. But no posts or products.

I am really at a loss. I would like to update my blog. I’ve got about three years of posts here. I don’t want to have to start fresh. Help!

The site looks fine though. You wouldn’t know until you login, although I also lost my prior Classified listings and the ability to access my Theme from the dashboard. Why can’t I restore from my backup?
