Can’t add new users

  • I can’t add new users to my WordPress site. I’ve already perused the forums here and tried to implement some of the suggestions. We do not have a multi-site and I tried the (Health Check) plugin, going to a default theme and turning off all plugins but the issue persists. Why can’t I add a new user? This is a big issue for us since I need to be able to add new users (with roles as authors and editors) to posts. We are using the Astra theme.
