Trying to add 1 or 2 new subscibers athttps://cloud.jetpack.com/subscribers/212253804?site=212253804

The input field is greyed out and a message appears: “Your current import is taking longer than expected. If the problem persists, please contact the support team.”

Most subscribers I added from a csv coming from MailChimp.

I then added email addresses manually among them email addresses with the @gmx.de Mail Domain, who tell me afterwards they never got any email from us. So I added them again, and it is “taking longer” for ever and the input field is greyed out and csv import does not seem to work either.

The problem has been going on for weeks now, so I’m asking the support team for a solution.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @bmlto,

It looks like the subscriber import process got stuck on your account. I’ve made some adjustments on our end to reset the importer, and I did a quick test by adding myself to your subscribers list, which worked successfully.

Please try adding your subscribers again, and let us know how it goes. If the issue persists, feel free to reach out, and we’ll continue to investigate.

Manually adding an email adress: Success

Uploading csv with 2 of my own email addresses from a domain I own: “Success! We’ve imported 1 out of 2 of the subscribers you …”

    1. The email adress successfully added is a one attached to my Gravatar account.
    2. The email address failing, is one of the same domain I own, but it is not registered with Gravatar, so far not part of the mailing list.

I can live with it that occasionally an email adress gets rejected. In this case I will have ask people to subscribe themselves rather than me adding them.

I understand fighting spam is a hard problem and software is always a work in progress. Thank you for fighting the good fight and for helping.

Maybe you could check why the second email adress got rejected. It might improve your system.

    All the best!

    Hi there

I checked our logs, and in this case, one of the emails has been automatically recognized by our systems as an address that cannot be imported.
