I see no where that I can actually add new styles, even under the style kits menu that shows the one global style that I have, there is no “add new” button like in your docs.

    Please advise.

    Hello @qwik3r,

Please check this doc: https://docs.analogwp.com/article/590-style-kit-library to import style kits and use it on any Elementor page.

Thanks. But what of the issue about being able to create a style kit in the library with the ‘add new’ button. I don’t see that. I was only able to create a style kit by editing it on a page that already existed and then saving it again.

On an unrelated note, will you ever be creating the ability to style SECTIONS differently? I know you can add sk-light-bg etc but I’m talking about more granular controls, or a class that might change everything beyond just light/dark.

I often run into scenarios where I have a page that has 2 different sections that require light and dark, however the page tempalte overrides everything.

    Hey @qwik3r,

You can’t create a Style Kit directly I’m afraid as the template type is kinda private from Elementor, we simply hack into creating it dynamically in the process. Though this process shall see a change soon. So your best would be “Save as…” on a Style Kit, reset, and then start designing.

As for styling sections differently, we tried that in the past but saw no light as we were limited by functionality within Elementor. However, recently, there are some changes in Elementor v3.0 than can make it possible. We’ll be giving it another shot after we’re done pushing an update along with Elementor in the coming week. We’ve also felt the problem when working with sections.

The plan was to create a set of classes that somehow to take any set of styles on it ??

    Stay tuned!

    Thanks for the update.

It definitely would be GREAT to be able to style sections differently. As I mentioned, I have trouble when a style kit is assigned to the whole page, trying to override some elements like secondary accent colors for buttons or links make it very difficult to override.
