can’t add new post with new post type

    Hello I’ve created a new post type called ‘applications’

    I am then using this shortcode. [frontier-post frontier_add_post_type=”applications”]

    It then says I do not have permission to create new posts.

    “You are not allowed to add new post type: applications – Allowed: (post)
    – This message is only shown to admins”

    Is there anything in the settings I need to change to allow custom post types?

    You need to add the new post type to “Allowed Post Types” in Frontier Post settings

    It can take up to 15 min before the new post type is available due to caching
