Can't add new passwords since updating plugin & wp

  • I recently updated my Multiple Passwords for Protected Pages plugin to 1.4 and updated WordPress to 3.8.1. I then noticed I can no longer add new passwords to protected pages. It allows me to type them in but after I hit “update” they disappear. This is a huge problem for me and my company as these need to be updated almost daily. I no longer have an old version of the plugin so I can’t even revert back to it. I’m kinda dead in the water here. Is this problem being addressed and is there a new version of the plugin coming soon? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I love this plugin and don’t have any desire to look elsewhere unless absolutely necessary. Thanks in advance for the help!

  • I have recently updated to 3.8.1 and can not edit or add new passwords. Please let me now how to fix this at your earliest convenience. Thank you!

    I upgraded to WordPress 4.0.1 and I cannot add new passwords to password protected pages either. Please help!

    I figured it out!
    Go to the plugin’s settings tab and uncheck the box that says “Check me if you do not want that when adding or updating a main password, all parent and child pages/posts are updated with this password.”
