Can't add new or edit old pages

  • Suddenly, I cannot make any changes to existing page nor can I add new pages. All I get is a blank screen when I click edit or new.

    Other functions seem to be working and the site is live and seems to have no existing problems to visitors. I have tried deactivating all extraneous plugins and still I cannot access the edit function for any of the pages.

    Please help.

    Try deactivating *all* plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
