Can’t add new images as featured image…again.

    Alright, so my issue from last year, wherein I couldn’t add new images as featured images, has returned once again. This time, trying to use the wordpress photo “edit” feature triggered it, when I tried to rotate a photo 90 degrees. I’ve since deleted the photo I attemped to rotate, but the issue has not resolved itself. According to the dashboard, I’m not using nearly as much memory as I have access to, so this shouldn’t be the issue (although this is what solved my problem last time). Any help greatly appreciated!

    What version of the theme are you using? Can you post a link to your site?

    Or better can you send a couple screen shots showing the process of the error?

    So the images are disappearing after you rotate them? Could you also link to an example of a post this is happening on?

    2.3.3 is very old? Like over 2 years old? How come your not updating? What about the rest of your site? wordpress, plugins. Are they all really out dated as well?

    Hi there,

    Sorry for the long delay in my reply. I went ahead and updated, and now, strangely, everything is working properly. I’m not a big believer in updating to magically fix issues that had specific causation, but in this case, it worked. I was actually thoroughly impressed by the theme’s ability to retain and apply all of my custom CSS and theming settings to the website – everything transferred over almost perfectly. In the future, I’d recommend an update to those in my position, regardless of how much customization work you’ve done, this theme is really pretty adaptable. Thanks!
