Can’t add new feeds

    Hi,
    Great plugin. I’ve got an issue with adding new feed sources, in that I can’t. This occurs on any source I attempt to add. After entering the feed, the settings screen loads as normal, I chose my options and go to Update Feed Settings. When I click this I get a blank dashboard screen. I also can’t change the settings on any existing feeds, it goes straight to the blank dashboard screen. I’ve checked with Siteground and they say there’s nothing at their end that is causing this. I have no errors in the log in my cPanel and no errors in Chrome’s inspector. I currently have 19 feeds, one of which has been added since the site went to server and behaves as expected. Auto pull feed is set to off and I have a cron job running for the existing feeds, which Siteground confirm to be correct. Have you any idea why I can’t add a new feed? Thanks for your help

    Update: I’ve cancelled the cron job on the server and set the pull mode back to auto. Pressing the “pull selected feeds now” button still takes me to a blank dashboard screen and if I try to add a new feed for syndication, I get the blank dashboard screen.

    A “blank dashboard screen” means that there was some error during the operation. You must enable WordPress debug mode and write down the error message.

    Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve enabled debug mode and this is the error message displayed on my homepage:
    Notice: Undefined index: tag in /home/boxcolli/public_html/wp-content/plugins/recent-posts-widget-extended/classes/widget.php on line 111
    Do you think this is somehow causing conflict with your plugin? It’s been fine until now, no updates or changes made. Thanks again.

    Hi again, I’ve just had a response from Siteground about this, and they discovered the following error:

    They’ve extended the apache dynamic timeout limit to 300 which is their max, but I’ve just tried pulling all feeds manually again and it still isn’t working. Thanks!

    This is not a bug in the plugin, bet a problem with your server configuration, so only your host admin can fix it. Try to pull the scripts one by one using default settings. And increase the PHP max execution time: https://docs.presscustomizr.com/article/171-fixing-maximum-upload-and-php-memory-limit-issues

    Yo, I wanted to let you know that I turned off the settings in the SG Optimizer plugin that minify scripts and it’s working correctly again. Thanks for taking the time to look into this for me.

    Nice to hear it’s finally working. And yes, some optimizers may break up the code.
