• There seems to be a problem with adding exception dates.

If I except some dates, example 28th March, the date excepted in the rule is the previous day, i.e. 27th March.

    I added 23rd, 27th, 28th March, and the rule excepted 23rd, 27th, 27th March (i.e.27th March twice)

    What is going wrong?

I can provide screenshots showing the dates excepted and the inconsistent rule it creates at the top if it helps!

    Thanks

    Rob

I can now add a bit more:

I think it’s something to do with the changeover to daylight saving time.

For us in the UK, this took place on 27th March 2016.

The rules I’m using start at 00.00 and finish at 23.59 the same day – i.e. run all day long.

Not sure what happens on days when the clocks change?

I’m still trying to understand the problem here.

I have been checking some of my rules, and the dates I have selected and added to the exception list have all changed back one day.

They are definitely not the dates which I selected.

If my rules finish at 23.59, and I created the rules before Daylight savings time (DST) started, has the switchover to DST pushed the rule to be active in the next day?

Or perhaps its the start time which is causing the problem? If all my rules start at 00.00 hours, then is this rule actually starting on the previous day now the clocks have gone forward? This would account for the apparent change in date.

I need to understand whether all the dates are now wrong, or are the rules just starting and finishing an hour earlier than planned?
