Can't Add New Category

  • I am unable to add a new category for posts. I don’t get any error message — just nothing happens when I hit “Add.”

    I am running 3.2.1 multi-site. I have tried deactivating all plugins, with no result, and have changed themes, also with no result.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • I’ve seen this behaviour before. When clicking Add nothing happens, or so it seems. Can you check the new categories from the list (Posts > Categories) are defiantly not there? For me, it actually added them but didn’t inform me of that. Turned out I had 3 or 4 for each new category for each time I pressed add!
