can't add link in post text

In this page of my fledgling web site:
https://ledyardcongregational.org/category/for-guests/
I have a post entitled “Currently Under Construction”. The web site name in that post, https://www.yourfaithfamily.org, is supposed to be a link but is not.

In the Visual editor, the phrase appears to be a link (it’s light blue), as follows. But on the live web site, it’s not a link.
SORRY, this site is under construction. Our real, live website is temporarily located at: https://www.yourfaithfamily.org.

In the Text editor, the code is:
SORRY, this site is under construction. Our real, live website is temporarily located at: <a href="https://www.yourfaithfamily.org/joomla/">www.yourfaithfamily.org</a>.

I’ve read the older posts and tried the suggestions of others but cannot get it to work. Help please
