• As of today, with this “free” plugin, a vendor is not allowed to create a percentage off coupon (ie: 5% off), only a flat $ coupon. In order to give the vendor the ability to use a % coupon, you have to pay for the upgraded premium WCMp Frontend Manager, for a whopping $100! Most coupons I have seen in e-commerce are a % off coupon, therefore to disallow % coupons in the free version makes this plugin 100% FREEmium, in my view. It’s the old “dangle the bait in-front of your eyes” tactic often seen on WP plugins, especially woocommerce plugins.

This isn’t very surprising because woocommerce “premium” plugins do seem to be vastly overpriced (I guess the plugin authors figure if you want/have an online store, then must mean you must have a big wallet.) Sigh.

  • Hi @toolsavvy

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience! The features that we have listed on the www.remarpro.com repository are completey free.

Having a motto of improving and contributing on WordPress, we do provide updates and enhancements at regular intervals. You can check the same from our developer log.

We receive many requests about improving our plugin each day. We process those carefully and then update our development plan. Now, depending upon the workforce and the effort required to implement, the feature will be premium or not is decided.

Making demands isn’t effective. If you have any solid real feedback, then kindly share with us, we will do everything to improve ourselves.

Thank you so much for giving us a try.

I made NO demands of you or anyone else in my review!

My review is my own opinion as a result from my experience from trying your product. If you do not like that, it’s OK, but please do not make us users look like bad people by making false claims about them (ie: claiming they made demands) just because you do not like their opinion of your product. I never made a demand in my review nor in any private correspondence with you (because there was no private correspondence).

    Thank you and good luck.

    Hi again @toolsavvy,
Demands doesn’t at all make our users bad people. We believe in “Customer’s First” and we think it was always because of our customer demands that we have been able to grow.
We offer quite a handful of options for our users for free and are always ready to provide them more. But frankly speaking, for a business to grow, you need to keep some premium features. Unfortunately, the one feature that you needed falls in one of our premium plugin and the premium plugin you referred to offers a lot more options than just the percentage coupon and therefore the price.
However, we also provide ample actions, filters and templates to override for our users which they can use to customize according to their wish.
    Thanks,
    Team WC Marketplace.
