• Hy,

i have the following problem with my multisite network:
Everytime i try to add a site or a link to an existing or new menue the site is loading extremly long and nothing works.

In the browser console i can find the following info and error message:
JQMIGRATE: $(html) HTML strings must start with ‘<‘ character
JQMIGRATE: HTML string cannot start with a ‘#’ character
Error: JQMIGRATE: Invalid selector string (XSS)

I cant’t find any useful information how to solve this problem.

    Can you help me?

    Thanks

  • In which screen are you trying to edit the menu? Customizer or Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus? And do this error also appears in another screen?

It’s probably a plugins or theme problem. You can use Health Check plugin to disable all your plugins and use a bundled theme without affecting site’s behavior for another users.

    Hy,

sorry for my late replay. i was very busy at my office.

The problem exists in both ways.
I am using the default template “Twenty Seventeen” and i’ve disabled all plugins, no change.

Here is a screenshot from the messages in the browser console:
